The best smartwatch we've seen yet, the Pebble makes a great gift for Android and iOS tinkerers alike.
The good: The Pebble Watch has a lean design, multiple watch faces, standalone timekeeping, and downloadable apps. It's water-resistant.
The bad: Currently limited feature set; unpredictable battery life due to unclear battery indicators; plastic look and smaller screen feel a little dated; getting notifications set up in iOS and Android can be confusing.
The bottom line: The Pebble Watch has solid basic smartwatch functions, but until promised apps and features arrive, it’s more a tinkerer’s tech toy than a must-have timepiece.
